微軟關(guān)于IE8 Beta1的介紹頁(yè)面 根據(jù)之前的介紹，IE8瀏覽器有三種渲染模式，其中一種是支持目前的web標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，第二種方案則是針對(duì)執(zhí)行方面遇到問(wèn)題的網(wǎng)頁(yè)，而第三種方式則把渲染方式退回到web頁(yè)面的初期階段，即符合最初的web標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，完全可以顯示古董級(jí)頁(yè)面。為了與IE7保持兼容，IE8甚至調(diào)用了模擬IE7的方法。用戶需要點(diǎn)擊“7”按鈕來(lái)模擬現(xiàn)有的IE7。 微軟首席軟件設(shè)計(jì)師Ray Ozzie說(shuō)，最初的計(jì)劃是使IE8使用IE7的默認(rèn)設(shè)置，但是該公司最后選擇了目前的web標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，他認(rèn)為： “這顯然是一個(gè)復(fù)雜的問(wèn)題，有數(shù)十億網(wǎng)頁(yè)使用先前版本的瀏覽器兼容模式進(jìn)行設(shè)計(jì)”但是另一方面，這樣做對(duì)網(wǎng)頁(yè)設(shè)計(jì)師有利“如果所有廠商優(yōu)先考慮普遍接受的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，那么就會(huì)促成演變” 目前微軟鼓勵(lì)內(nèi)容發(fā)布商在IE8測(cè)試階段更新自己的網(wǎng)站，以符合當(dāng)前的web標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。實(shí)際上不久前Opera的CTO曾認(rèn)為， IE8最終通不過(guò)Acid2測(cè)試 。

　　Automatic Crash Recovery （自動(dòng)崩潰恢復(fù)）
　　Improved Phishing Filter （改進(jìn)型反釣魚(yú)過(guò)濾器） 　　
Activities（活動(dòng)內(nèi)容服務(wù)）
　　活動(dòng)內(nèi)容服務(wù)，意味著用戶可以從網(wǎng)頁(yè)服務(wù)中快速存取服務(wù)，用戶通常對(duì)網(wǎng)頁(yè)的內(nèi)容進(jìn)行復(fù)制粘貼，這里的情況是把網(wǎng)頁(yè)中內(nèi)容發(fā)送到一個(gè)web應(yīng)用程序中，例如，用戶在頁(yè)面看到一個(gè)餐廳地址，那么他就可以把看到的地址發(fā)送到地圖服務(wù)中去。而其他情況，例如用戶看到一篇有趣的文章，他也可以利用這項(xiàng)功能把部分文字發(fā)送到博客中去。關(guān)于活動(dòng)服務(wù)的內(nèi)容，用戶可以安裝或管理。

WebSlices（網(wǎng)站訂閱）
　　WebSlices是一個(gè)新的功能，當(dāng)用戶接入網(wǎng)絡(luò)之后可以不打開(kāi)網(wǎng)站查看訂閱內(nèi)容，WebSlices似乎與Feeds之類比較相似，微軟的演示為訂閱天氣預(yù)報(bào)。

Favorites Bar（收藏夾欄）
　　之前IE7的收藏夾已經(jīng)被擴(kuò)展為一個(gè)完整的收藏夾欄，此欄目除了可以添加喜好的網(wǎng)站，
還可以加入包括word、excel、powerpoint文件的地址。


Automatic Crash Recovery （自動(dòng)故障恢復(fù)）
　　IE系列瀏覽器的用戶實(shí)際上經(jīng)常能遇到IE瀏覽器崩潰的情況。再次打開(kāi)IE之后，剛剛瀏覽的網(wǎng)頁(yè)沒(méi)有保存，你甚至不知道去那里找回它們。ACR自動(dòng)故障恢復(fù)功能是IE 8瀏覽器的一個(gè)重要改進(jìn)。當(dāng)IE瀏覽器崩潰，ACR會(huì)自動(dòng)保存用戶瀏覽的頁(yè)面，并恢復(fù)它們。

　Improved Phishing Filter （改進(jìn)型反釣魚(yú)過(guò)濾器）
　　IE7中提供的網(wǎng)絡(luò)反釣魚(yú)過(guò)濾器在新的IE 8中得到了發(fā)揚(yáng)，當(dāng)用戶遇到可能的仿冒網(wǎng)站，此過(guò)濾器會(huì)彈出并警告用戶可能的威脅。并且新加入了“安全過(guò)濾”功能，這種安全過(guò)濾器除了繼續(xù)阻止已知的釣魚(yú)網(wǎng)站，還可以檢查已知的惡意軟件，以減少用戶個(gè)人信息失竊等問(wèn)題。
