近期，關(guān)于Longhorn，X64系統(tǒng)的新聞不斷涌現(xiàn)。在上周，Windows Server 2003 SP1發(fā)布了，而Windows Server 2003的下一個(gè)更新版也即將開始公測(cè)。

　　到今年末，Windows Server用戶將有望看到Windows Server 2003的下一個(gè)重要更新版本（代號(hào)"R2"）。"R2"版在SP1的基礎(chǔ)上，還增添了獨(dú)有功能，它們都支持選擇性安裝。

　　Windows Server 2003 "R2"發(fā)布初期，受Software Assurance（軟件保證）或Enterprise Agreements（企業(yè)協(xié)議）保護(hù)的服務(wù)器用戶將有資格免費(fèi)獲得"R2"。當(dāng)"R2"普及后，大眾用戶可通過定購獲得"R2"。另外，用戶還可以購買服務(wù)器版權(quán)來獲得"R2"版的功能。此外，Windows Server 2003 "R2"要求用戶擁有與Windows Server 2003原版相同的客戶訪問權(quán)（CAL）。

　　Windows Server 2003 "R2" Beta 2是"R2"的最新候選版，大家可以按照以下步驟獲得之：
　　1. 登陸http://beta.microsoft.com
　　2. 輸入合法.Net Passport
　　3. 點(diǎn)擊GuestID
　　4. 輸入'R2B2Beta' (大小寫敏感)
　　5. 完成左側(cè)面板的統(tǒng)計(jì)
　　成功參與的用戶將在2周后收到另外的郵件通知。
